Christopher Stephen Gabbert Nursing

The Christopher Stephen Gabbert Nursing Scholarship, established by Greg and Susan Gabbert, is named after Greg’s brother who died as an infant. It was created to honor all the dedicated nurses who helped Susan survive cancer, Greg survive a heart attack, and who served so heroically during COVID-19. Susan was a Registered Nurse for 39 years. Greg and Susan’s son, Michael, is an RN as well. The Gabberts know that nurses are special people who don’t always get the support and gratitude they deserve. This scholarship was created to help another special person become a nurse.
