George Pherigo Memorial

George Pherigo – the founder of Ridgewater’s NDT program — was honored during a ceremony that attracted former students, faculty and NDT industry officials from across the country. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a plaque honoring the Litchfield native who died in North Carolina in 2009, was unveiled and friends and colleagues introduced an initiative to endow a scholarship fund in George’s memory, to provide scholarships to future generations of NDT students.
