Jaeger Practical Nursing
Janet Jaeger began teaching in the Practical Nursing program in 1977, retiring in 2006. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Gustavus Adolphus College and a master’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University. Her experience included hospital staff nursing as well as public health nursing before employment at Ridgewater College both as faculty and as Program Director for 10 years. This scholarship was established because of her passion for the mission of the Licensed Practical Nurse, understanding that many of her students needed additional financial help because so many were trying to juggle family and work responsibilities while attending the nursing program.
