Peter Tintes Memorial

Peter was an ordained priest serving parishes in the Willmar area before developing an interdenominational Life Center at Ridgewater College. In 1968, he began teaching college courses in philosophy, sociology, and psychology while pursuing his Master’s degree from Loyola University. During the latter part of his career, Pete directed the Chemical Dependency program before retiring from teaching in 1997. He passed away in a car accident in 2004. This scholarship is awarded to students studying psychology or sociology, or who are involved in organic farming.
