Childcare - T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood MN Scholarship
T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® MINNESOTA is a scholarship program that helps early childhood and school-age care providers increase their levels of education, compensation, and commitment to the field by earning college credits and degrees. It is a national program licensed by T.E.A.C.H Early Childhood® National Center located in North Carolina.
Early Childhood or School-Age Care Provider Scholarship
Be employed as a family child care provider, child care center teacher, child care center director/assistant director, or school-age care employee at a licensed or regulated program in Minnesota
Be working at least 20 hours per week
Have been employed at your current program or licensed for at least six months
Be committed to continue working at your current place of employment for one year beyond your contract year
Be accepted into a Child Development or Early Childhood Education degree program or be pursuing college credits for a national Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) at an approved, accredited college or university in Minnesota
Have a Develop Individual Membership
Not currently receiving a R.E.E.T.A.I.N. grant from Child Care Aware of Minnesota
Early Childhood Trainer Scholarship
Be an Achieve Approved Trainer
Be accepted into a Child Development or Early Childhood Education degree program at an approved, accredited college or university in Minnesota
Be committed to instructing at least three Achieve-approved trainings in the year following your scholarship
Not currently receiving a R.E.E.T.A.I.N. grant from Child Care Aware of Minnesota
Judy Lindman Memorial Scholars Forgivable Loan Award for High School Seniors
Be a high school senior in good standing enrolled in the public/alternative school system in Minnesota
Have a high school grade point average showing marked effort, improvement, or success
Have a GED or high school diploma by the fall semester following graduation
Be eligible to enroll full-time at a Minnesota state accredited community or technical college in an associate degree program majoring in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
Have worked or volunteered at a licensed early childhood program serving children ages birth to prekindergarten
